OptiQ Max is the operations platform for limestone producers — replacing spreadsheets across the entire quarry workflow, from drill pattern design and Rigaku XRF chemistry through grade assignment, blending, muckpile inventory, shipment quality control, and customer reporting.
Platform
Every module is designed around real quarry operations — drill-and-blast crews, lab supervisors, dispatchers, and quarry managers. Role-based access, audit trails, and customer-facing reporting are built in.
Pattern design from data-collector imports. Borehole tracking, depth and orientation, volume and tonnage from convex-hull footprints, blast workflow gating from draft through approved.
Direct integration with Rigaku XRF analysers. CaO, SiO₂, Al₂O₃, Fe₂O₃, SO₃, MgO, K₂O. Configurable spec thresholds — cement, chemical, waste, dyke. Automatic grade assignment per borehole.
Composite and selective excavation modes. Bucket-ratio blend instructions to the loader operator (1W:3G, 2W:2G). Weighted-average chemistry validation against spec before each load.
Pile-level lifecycle from pending‑lab through active. Dominant grade tracking, blended-pile flags, and live tonnage available to dispatch and shipment scheduling.
Customer order management with auto-suffixing for repeated order IDs. Snapshot quality reports frozen at the sampled-to-reviewed transition. PDF report generation with tier-resolved spec validation.
Three-tier spec hierarchy — global, contract, per-product — with sparse merge so undeclared keys inherit. LECO carbon, composite rules, and per-customer thresholds.
End-to-end workflow
OptiQ Max replaces the spreadsheet patchwork that most quarries still depend on. Each stage feeds the next with traceability and approvals built into the data model.
About
OptiQ Max is developed and operated by RICS Services, providing private single-tenant deployments to limestone and cement producers across North America. Each customer receives an isolated environment with their own database, subdomain, and security boundary — no shared multi-tenancy, no cross-customer data exposure.
The platform is in active production use for drill-and-blast operations, lab quality control, muckpile inventory management, and customer shipment reporting. It integrates with on-site instrumentation including Rigaku XRF analysers and standard data-collector CSV exports from Trimble and Carlson surveying equipment.
All deployments use TLS 1.2+, role-based authentication, server-side CSRF protection, and bcrypt password hashing. Data is hosted on geographically appropriate infrastructure for each customer.
